Private Sessions

Why a Private Session?

Private sessions are great for anyone wanting to:

  • improve their existing Pilates practice with some one-to-one guidance to apply in your mat classes,
  • have an individual programme of Pilates designed just for you to do at home and monitored/adapted by a professional,
  • or to address a range of specific issues such as (but not limited to) osteoarthritis, hypermobility, injuries, post hip replacement, back pain or disc problems.

Private sessions can therefore be tailored to you and your needs, wants and body.

What I offer

1-1 and 1-2 (duet) private initial consultations and sessions in Edinburgh. These take place at either Moving Forth‘s studio at Out of the Blue (OOTB), 36 Dalmeny Street, Leith or at your home. Everyone must first attend an initial consultation session where you will complete a new client health form, we will have a short discussion about tailoring the session and will start with some exercises designed for you.

Terms, conditions and policies

Home visits: You must have a suitable space in your home for a Pilates session, with adequate room to move and for me to teach. If the space is deemed not suitable on initial consultation, further sessions will need to take place at Moving Forth. Home visits may also incur an additional £5 charge depending on distance from the city centre, which will be discussed before confirming your booking.

Booking: Sessions will booked at mutually agreed times. I cannot always guarantee the same reoccurring slot, although I will do my best if that is required.

Payments: You will be invoiced at time of booking and required to pay the balance in advance of your session by BACS. Receipts are available on request.

Cancellations: I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that any cancellations or rescheduling can only occur up until 48 hours before your session start time. Cancellations made prior to the 48 hour window will be given a full refund. After this, the full cost of the session will be due and no refund will be made.
